My trip to florida

I just went to Florida and saw family, went on awsome rides, and went swimming. I had lots of fun. I would do it again anytime!

Amman Imman

My school helps a program called Amman Imman. Amman Imman's goal is to bring water to Niger, West Africa. So far in 2007 we were able to raise enough money to build a borehole and help 25,000 people. A borehole is like a well, but it is deeper and is a shaft that brings the water up. In February I was lucky enough to go to The Hershey Farm School in Ohio with the other seventh graders in my class (Sarah Nia, Ashley, Sophie H-S, and Dylan) to present about Amman Imman. Also, on my own, I decided to present to some three to six year-olds at Manor Montessori in Bethesda, MD. I have enjoyed all that I have done for Amman Imman and look forward to the upcoming year to help even more.

My love for horses

Besides just riding horses I also love to take care of them and help them in any way I can. I am going to volunteer at a horse rescue barn as often as I can get out there. If I had the room and money I would love to buy a horse to take care of and ride every day. Since I can't afford a horse right now I love spending time around and learning about horses. Since my dream profession right now would be being a riding instructor I love getting better and better at riding so I can help others learn. A riding instructor would be the perfect job for me because I love horses, I'm good at riding, and I'm a good teacher and know how to explain things well so people can understand what I am talking about. I've been riding since I was five or six years old. Although I enjoy riding horses more than watching other ride them I still love going to riding events so I can learn from watching the people who are riding. Most people who love horses like to see them go very fast, this is true with me as well although I don't like to see horse racing because a lot of people in that business don't care about the horses, they just care about wining and the money.

My Dream for the World

If I could have one wish for the world it would be that there was no more genocide or war anywhere. I think that if people took the time and effort to get together to talk things out or get their leaders together wars would be less common then they are today.

The Holocoust

Something I like to learn about is The Holocoust. I got interested on this subject because I read a book that was set during The Holocoust about a Jewish and Gentile girl who were friends and how they kept their friendship though World War II. Since then I have done a report and presentation on how Hitler Youth was organized and I have read many books on this subject. I think it is important for people to learn about The holocoust so it won't happen again.

Horses

Horses are my favorite animals. That is, if I had to choose one. I go horseback riding every wednsday. Right now, if I had to choose what I would be when I grow up I would be a riding instructor.
